Longa Vista Foundation

An education foundation
with a long view

The Longa Vista Foundation works where education truly changes lives – not by transferring knowledge, but by changing the way people think.

We believe the biggest barriers – financial, technological, decision-making – are mental. They do not come from a lack of information, but from a lack of habits and patterns that make long-term thinking possible.

We work online, without geographical barriers. We care especially about people from smaller towns, who less often have access to environments that shape long-term thinking.

Our work is addressed to adults aged 18–40 – both those starting out on their own and those who want to consciously redesign their habits and their approach to the future.

Statutory objectives of the foundation

§ Economic and financial education, and the shaping of long-term economic thinking
§ Counteracting impulsive and risky financial behaviour
§ Developing digital and information skills that support conscious decisions
§ Levelling educational opportunities for people starting out on their own
§ Responsible use of digital technology, including AI-based tools

Four pillars,
one goal

Financial habits

Financial education for adults grounded in the psychology of habits and behavioural economics. We guide participants through three stages: spending awareness, the saving habit and long-term investing. Not advice – behaviour change.

Psychology of habits Behavioural economics Long horizon

Technology and AI

Education on the responsible use of digital tools and artificial intelligence. We show how technology can support conscious decisions – and where it calls for critical thinking. Both as a working tool and as a subject of education.

AI and automation Digital skills Critical thinking

Decision-making skills

Building the capacity for conscious, calm decision-making amid information chaos and short-term pressure. Levelling educational opportunities – especially for people outside large cities.

Long-term decisions Levelling opportunities Working with habits

Entrepreneurship

Project thinking, mentoring and practical tools for people who want to turn an idea into action. Design thinking, lean canvas, pitch – not theory, but workshop. For those who want to build, not just plan.

Methods that
change behaviour

We do not start with investing or with theory. First we help participants understand their own behaviour, then turn knowledge into simple habits, build greater resilience to impulsive decisions, and only on that foundation develop long-term thinking.

  1. Stage 01

    Awareness

Understanding your own financial behaviour and decisions before any strategy comes into play.

  2. Stage 02

    Habits

Turning knowledge into simple, repeatable actions that hold up without constant motivation.

  3. Stage 03

    Resilience

Building a safety buffer and resistance to impulsive and risky decisions.

  4. Stage 04

    Long horizon

Developing long-term thinking only on the foundation of the earlier stages.

Financial habits are the foundation of everything we do. We work with the psychology of money and behavioural economics – not through lectures, but through small steps, exercises and the context of everyday decisions. We guide participants along a path: spending awareness → the saving habit → long-term investment thinking.

Technology and AI are for us both a working tool and a subject of education in its own right. We use AI-based tools to personalise each participant's path – and at the same time we teach how to use them consciously and critically. It is a skill that matters more and more in everyday financial and professional decisions.

Decision-making skills are the glue holding the other areas together. We build the ability to act calmly and consciously amid information chaos and short-term pressure – especially among people outside large cities, who less often have access to environments that shape a long horizon.

Entrepreneurship is the practical dimension of design thinking. Not theory – workshop. Design thinking, lean canvas, pitch, mentoring. For those who want to turn an idea into action and need tools, not another online course.

What we are not

We do not give investment advice or financial recommendations
We do not run certified e-learning courses
We do not promote speculation or quick profits

What already works,
and what we are preparing

The foundation is young, so we separate what is already available to participants from what is still being built. We do not describe plans as completed work.

Foundation Board

ZC

Zbigniew Cichański

Co-founder · Board Member · Content Lead · CTO

Technologist and educator. Currently CTO and director of development at a large organisation. He led R&D work on a publicly co-funded project (NCBR, the Polish National Centre for Research and Development), which was completed successfully.

He comes from a small town near Rabka-Zdrój and still lives there. He grew up in an environment where investing was seen as "black magic". That experience shapes his understanding of the mental barriers facing young people outside large cities.

His career path was not linear: manual work, his own educational business, and eventually the role of a technology leader. He works actively with AI-based tools, treating them both as an instrument of work and as a subject that calls for responsible education.

Aleksander Radwan-Pragłowski

Co-founder · Board Member · Technology Lead

Technologist and leader of technology development. He serves as Deputy Director of Development at a large organisation, responsible for building capability in artificial intelligence, DevOps, data warehousing and process automation platforms.

He comes from Kraków. He has been involved with technology since his earliest years. He has taught at Cracow University of Technology. He believes that consistency and regularity are the foundation of long-term growth – professional and financial alike.

At the Foundation he shows how technology and analytical tools can support conscious financial decisions – reducing impulsiveness and building responsible habits.

Subject-matter expert · Science and commercialisation

Researcher and academic lecturer. PhD Eng. at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Cracow University of Technology. As project manager she secured and settled grants from NCBiR, NCN and the Foundation for Polish Science with a combined value of over ten million zloty. At the Foundation she brings the perspective of a researcher and of a practitioner in managing complex projects. She shows that systematic work, the courage to pursue ambitious goals and the ability to commercialise knowledge – whether in science or in personal finance – lead to measurable results.

International
cooperation

The challenges of money, technology and the quality of everyday decisions do not stop at national borders.

We are looking for partners in Central Europe to design and run educational activities for young adults and local communities together.

We are interested in cooperation based on a real division of competences, joint programme design and measurable impact — not a partnership that exists only on paper for an application.

Who we want to work with

Non-governmental organisations, foundations and associations, schools and universities, educational institutions, local authorities, youth organisations and local learning centres.

Let us discuss a partnership

What we bring to a partnership

—A behavioural approach to financial education
—Designing practical workshops and educational programmes
—AI and digital literacy expertise
—Building lightweight technological tools
—Experience in publicly funded projects
—A focus on measurable and lasting behaviour change
